Where The Alder Trees Grow

Outside The Box Program.
The Outside the Box program provides an opportunity for local artists to create works of art on traffic signal boxes across Toronto. In the summer of 2022, Steph was selected to paint a box for the program.
Located in an area where lots of Alder trees grow, Where The Alder Trees Grow is a commemoration of the natural world that came before us, and a reminder to passersby of what they must protect as they inhabit and grow Toronto in order to maintain a balanced ecosystem.
